Why so serious?

Toosdays Prophet would like to tell the other so-called "prophets" (or pundits, or futurists, or whatever they call themselves) to stop taking themselves so darn serious.  Not that Toosdays Prophet is better, but if we could pass on just one suggestion, it would be...

"Lighten up folks."

None of us get out of this alive and knowing that there will be a flood or meteorite or some other type of catastrophe sometime in the future will only help if you 1) can tell exactly where it will happen, 2) what the impact will be (so you can figure out a course of action) and 3) you are able to (and actually take) the actions that will ensure your survival.  What are the chances that all three things will line up for you?  This may get you asking ...

What are prophecies good for?

Entertainment?  Maybe.
Thought provoking.  Certainly.
Clear directions from a higher power.  Let's get serious here.

Use prophecies wisely.

Only you can decide what something means for your life.  If a prophecy or prediction make sense to you, then treat them as "hints" towards potential futures.  Don't get so caught up in them that you forget to live your life.

There are things in life that should be taken seriously.

Something you find on the internet or YouTube ... what do you think?
